Invitation: A Magical Evening with Tibetan Monks at the Beach

Location: Cardiff Beach – Reef Parking Lot near Pacific Coast Grill (Look for the silver sprinter van parked at the north end of the parking lot) If you can’t find us please text me 208-770-0786.
Join us for an extraordinary evening at the beach, where we’ll immerse ourselves in beach games and sandcastle building. The monks will offer pet healings and lead us in a guided sunset meditation. This event offers a rare and magical opportunity to connect with the Tibetan Buddhist monks of Gaden Shartse Phukhang Monastery, who are nearing the end of their 18-month tour across the United States.
Playing with the monks is not just about fun; it’s a chance to experience the joy, connection, and wisdom they share through their teachings. This evening also supports their mission—donations are welcome and will directly benefit the monastery.
What to Bring:
- Your competitive spirit and sand sculpture tools
- A vegan dish to share for our potluck
- Comfortable attire and beach gear
- Your leashed doggy for a healing
