Welcome to a very special show hosted by Music House called Songs for the Water!
We are excited to announce that we have chosen to have the night benefit a local San Diego non-profit – Indigenous Regeneration. Their programming is focused on inspiring Native Communities on environmental awareness & climate change response strategies, solar harvesting, water collection, medicinal farming, primitive survival skills, regenerative agriculture concepts and sustainable building techniques for further economic growth on San Diego reservations. Music House’s mission is very aligned with empowering musicians to use their authentic voice to raise awareness around missions like these so please come out, support, and enjoy the night!
The evening will include:
A poetry reading from Dani Fine
Opening set from Miss Violette
Short talk from the representatives from Indigenous Regeneration
Headlining set from Paul Cannon – Iron Sage Wood
*We also have a live painter Tracy Lewin that will be joining us as well for the length of the show to paint on behalf of the water.
Special thanks to our vendors and local friends for coming out to support and post up for the night. Big shout outs to Juneshine – a local organic hard kombucha company for coming out to support everyone with fun & healthy refreshments for the evening, Eco Arts – a local foundation that is committed to the mission of inspiring ecological regeneration via the arts and the Nada Shop – Encinitas’ only official zero waste shop providing zero waste options to the community, and finally Marina Qutab – founder of the famous Zero Waste Kit that was founded here in Encinitas and featured earlier this year in Forbes Magazine!
P.S- Thank you to our painter Mars Creeps for painting the dreamy backdrop for our posters we are having posted up all around town!
