Honoring John C. (Jack) Raymond – Lifetime Achievement Award
John C. “Jack” Raymond has called Escondido home since 1943 and has spent a lifetime giving back to the community he loves. Through decades of leadership in education, philanthropy, business, and the arts, Jack has helped shape the San Diego region while inspiring generations through his commitment to service, collaboration, and community care. A graduate of Cornell University and honorary doctorate recipient from California State University San Marcos, he has been recognized with numerous honors celebrating his lasting impact across North County and beyond.
Over the years, Jack has served in leadership roles with organizations including the California Center for the Arts, Escondido, the Escondido Chamber of Commerce, LEAD San Diego, the San Diego Economic Development Corporation, and the San Diego Foundation. His dedication, generosity, and belief in the power of community continue to leave a meaningful legacy throughout the region.
