Our Sunday Services include several different practices that bring us closer to the Divine. It’s fine to come for the one you are most interested in or to come right at 9:30 and stay until 1:00. The normal schedule is as follows:
9:30 Participating in Gnostic songs with Zedek and his guitar. These songs are recorded as Zedek has recently passed. They relate to the theme of our metaphysical class.
9:45 Metaphysical lecture and discussion lead by a teacher of Gnosis.
10:30 yoga practices designed to prepare us for meditation
11:00 Gnostic songs relating to the message of the meditation to follow.
11:15 Meditation and Discussion. **This week’s topic, “Experiencing Yourself as a Manifestation of the Eternal Sea,” uses meditation to guide us into the hyperconscious, or the divine part of us that exists above the conscious mind. The divine spark within each of us is limitless, but mortal mind is primarily centered in the physical, so that it blocks access to the eternal source of all that is. Practicing active imagination can help us access the hyperconscious and let it take us in directions we never would have consciously thought of, so that we can understand more of the divine reality that we are a part of and in which we seek to live.**
