Sacred Arts of Tibet: In Escondido
The Tibetan Buddhist monks of Gaden Shartse Phukhang Monastery from Souther India will join up in sharing their Sacred Earth and Healing Arts, beginnin with an opening Ceremony t mark the construction of a Buddha Manjushri (Wisdom) sand mandala.

Karma: Cause and Effect Lecture ::: December 7, 5:30-7:00pm
Tea Ceremony and Khangso Music Ritual ::: December 8, 2:00pm – 4:00pm
Open House:: December 9, 12:00pm – 2:00pm
Enjoy Traditional activities, including a hands on experience with sand mandala tools, butter sculpture, and Tibetan Calligraphy.
Closing Ceremony:: December 9, 2:00pm
The monks will offer small bags of mandala sand to everyone after it is swept up in ceremony. The community is welcome to go with the monks to a nearby lake to disperse the sand as a blessing for world peace.
