Shantaya & the Radiant Soul Band is a collective of life-long musicians from Encinitas, CA, who create soul-enriching chants fusing East-West sounds with heartfelt, transformational vocals. The band features Shantaya Bonilla, Ari Marsh, David Nandan Powell, and Tony Lasley.

About the Artists:

Shantaya Boneja offers the world a gift of healing through sacred mantras. Her elegant and expansive musical style blends powerful, haunting vocals with soaring piano and harmonium melodies. She is gifted with the unique ability to open the heart space with a pervading sweetness, creating a deep peace. A pitch-perfect singer of German descent, she has extensively studied all facets of music and vocal training at Otto-Friedrich University, Germany.

Ari Marsh is a California-bred world musician and multi-instrumentalist who brings warm acoustic guitar sounds and smooth, devotional vocals to the band. He has been part of the yoga and kirtan movement for more than 20 years, including multiple Bhaktifest performances, and loves to sprinkle specially-chosen Beatles songs into the kirtan experience.

David Nandan Powell is a master world beat drummer with a unique multi-percussion set up. He blends jazz improvisation with reggae, Brazilian, and West African rhythms to create a unique heartbeat for the Radiant Soul Band.

Their kirtans and concerts are meditative celebrations where everybody can sing, breathe, and heal together through the Bhakti Yoga experience.
