WINTER SOLSTICE at Double Rainbow Ranch

Yin Yoga with Tibetan Bowls & A Diamond Light Meditation Journey

with Paul Temple & Kerry Temple-Wood

On this deep and magical Solstice night there will be double feature events at Double Rainbow Ranch. We start at 6pm with an hour of YIN YOGA WITH TIBETAN BOWLS followed by a beautiful GUIDED SOLSTICE MEDITATION & SOUND JOURNEY into the magic and mystery of the longest night.

The Yin Yoga practice embodies a quiet, inner focus: a stillness of the body, a stillness of the mind. Through the practice of stillness and staying for a while, Yin offers deeper access into the body, targeting our body’s deeply intelligent myo-fascial web. Physically, this is a joint focused practice with the aim of lubricating and protecting our joints.

While your body connects into the yin asanas, Paul Temple will play Tibetan Healing Bowls, meditative flute and share Tibetan throat singing to deepen the bliss. The bowls, flutes and chanting create a deeply meditative atmosphere, inviting in the stillness of body and mind, that place where we have the opportunity to tap into our clarity, intuition and peace of mind.

After the yin yoga session Paul & Kerry will offer a Winter Solstice Meditation & Sound Journey in which we will enter the Sound Temple to drop into the mystery, stillness and vibrational bliss. Kerry will guide a beautiful meditation taking us to mystical inner realms where we gather dream seeds for who we wish to become in the next cycle of the sun.

The Diamond Light Transmission that comes thru Paul’s Tibetan bowls and chanting activates the diamond radiance in our hearts. These ancient practices help us remember our pure light in our hearts, our awakened nature and evolutionary potential. The pure-land of the bowls is a good place to be in the stillness and magic of the longest night.

These events are offered both on Zoom and live at Double Rainbow Ranch in Boulder, CO. Online attendees can register for either or both with separate tickets.

In-person attendance at Double Rainbow Ranch: We ask those attending in-person at the ranch to come for both the Yin Yoga with Tibetan Bowls and Winter Solstice Meditation. There is a separate ticket for the combined in-person attendance.

ONLINE PREPARATION NOTES: It would be good to be in a private and quiet place for your journey: prepare an altar with some crystals and a candle – and have a meditation cushion or comfy chair for sitting, as well as some paper and a pen to write with.

Part of the solstice ceremony will involve lighting a candle to affirm the return of the light, so please have a candle and matches prepared for this. If you have a candle on your altar it is fine to use this one. We will ask you to extinguish it as we venture into the darkness, then relight it as we bring back the light.

Paul & Kerry were married by their Native American spiritual teacher 38 years ago. Kerry is a long time yoga student and educator with a practice flowing over 50 years.
