90 minute Experiential Workshop: Breathwork Therapeutics for Healing and Transformation

Bastyr University and the Entheogenic Medicine Club is excited to present this experiential workshop with Michael Brian Baker’s The Breath Center .

The principle of therapeutic “breathwork” involves breathing in a specific rhythmic manner to alter the physiology of the body and parasympathetic nervous system and change a patient’s state of awareness, thereby facilitating healing and often yielding transformative states. This is a “next level” approach beyond simply breathing properly – it is a therapeutically facilitated way of breathing.

You will experience a brief “Transformational journey” that will help you move through stress or emotional issues or physical challenges while offering a prayer for global healing in the end. Be prepared to be AMAZED by your “entheogenic” breathwork experience!

Please plan to arrive at least 15 mins early to ensure the event starts on time and to respect your classmates’ time.

Bring with you:
yoga mat
blankets/pillow
water bottle
eye pillow
comfortable clothing
and avoid eating a heavy meal prior to the session

This workshop will be facilitated by Michael Brian Baker, a renowned, certified breathwork facilitator who has averaged the facilitation of approximately 5,000 participants yearly throughout his 12 years experience both nationally and internationally. He is the only known practitioner who integrates Quero shamanism with Yogic Pranamaya within his therapeutic approaches.
